On 7 August Perth Poetry Club presents the highly entertaining local poet and songwriter DANNY GUNZBURG. Plus open mike. 2-4pm at The Moon, 323 William Street, Northbridge. Come and listen.

Danny Gunzburg has been writing poems and songs since his early teens. His work has appeared in magazines including Verandah, Going Down Swinging and Journeys To The Point. Of Danny’s first album, Dave Larkin of Dallas Crane said Danny possessed “an accomplished sensibility for pop”. In 1995 he was an Emerging Writer-In-Residence at the Katherine Susannah Prichard Writers’ Centre. In 2005 he published his first book of poems, “Dangerous Times With The Humourless Psychologist".
