The irrepressibly vivacious CORAL CARTER (third in the 2009 National Poetry Slam WA final) entertains us this week with her forceful, verseful social and personal commentary.
Coral has (so far!) had an interesting life in various odd corners of Australia and the world. She was born in Kalgoorlie. Her nomadic life has taken her far and wide including Marree, Great Sandy Desert, Southern Cross, Iron Knob and Ulaan Baatar. She now resides in Bayswater where she pursues poetry and occasionally catches a poem. She began performing her work at WA Spring Poetry Festival in 2005.
Plus OPEN MIKE, professional sound, dubious furniture and definite food. MCs Janet Jackson and Neil J Pattinson.
2-4pm at The Moon, 323 William Street, Northbridge.
Come and find out just how entertaining a mob of poets can be.
