Peeps

Perth Poetry Club is a weekly spoken word event organised by unpaid volunteers who love words and poets. If you have some time, energy and commitment to give, and might be interested in helping out, please contact us.

Perth Poetry Club is currently brought to you by

The Underlords of Evil Tonsil:
Chris Arnold (zines, sartorial extravagance)
Coral Carter (our Kalgoorlie advisor)
Marcus John (posters, opinions, noises off)
Elio Novello (rattly & rustly things, flyers, zines, occasional MCing)
Janet Jackson (enquiries, guest bookings, publicity, mailing list, coordination, MCing)
Neil J Pattinson (zines; MC extraordinaire anti-authoritaire)

all our beloved regular and irregular punters, poets and photographers

and of course
Allan Boyd (web hosting & hacking, graphic design, telephone counselling)

and
the management and staff of The Moon Cafe (space, time, service, sound equipment & arty awesomeness).

We have one paid helper,
Ben Hoare (professional sound, good grace).

We gratefully acknowledge Helen Child for help, support and vivid MCing from the beginning (March 2009) until August 2009.

Anyone can be part of the fun: come to our Saturday afternoon readings. Just listen, or share poems. Every Saturday at The Moon. Don't pinch yourself, you're not dreaming, and you're not in Melbourne -- it really is weekly. Contact us or join our Facebook group to get our weekly 'What's on' messages.
